My name is Nagmeh Ansari. I am a parent of two children in the Public Schools of Brookline, local businesswoman and former PTO president of the Lawrence School. It gives me great pleasure to endorse Jennifer Monopoli in her run for the Brookline School Committee this year. I have come to know Jennifer as a thoughtful and hardworking woman dedicated to the advancement of public education. As a fourth-grade teacher in the Newton Public Schools and a mother of two children in the Brookline public school system, Jennifer has a unique perspective and will bring a much-needed voice to our school committee. She is committed to transparency in committee process and listening to community voices before deciding on key issues that effect our town and our schools. She will also bring a renewed sense of importance to child centered education to Brookline. Jennifer believes that school dollars should directly impact children whenever possible.

More time and money should be spent on teaching and classroom enrichment and less on administrative positions.
